Terms of Service

These plain-language draft terms describe the expected use of Novex, the AI front office for service businesses. They are designed for owner and legal-counsel review before launch.

Last updated August 27, 2026 · Placeholder draft for owner and legal-counsel review

Using Novex

Novex provides software and related services that can answer business calls, capture caller information, schedule appointments, send configured messages, and help a service business manage follow-up. The exact features available to you depend on your plan, configuration, integrations, and written order details.

By using Novex, you agree to these terms and to use the service lawfully. If you are using Novex for a business, you represent that you can bind that business to these terms.

Accounts and responsibilities

  • Keep account, billing, business-hours, routing, and contact information accurate.
  • Protect login credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • Make sure your business has the permissions and notices required to use caller data, recordings, messages, and integrations.
  • Review automated answers, bookings, messages, and other outputs before relying on them for important decisions.

Acceptable use

You may not use Novex to break the law, impersonate another person or business, send unlawful or abusive communications, interfere with the platform, probe or bypass security controls, upload malicious code, or process information you are not authorized to handle. Novex may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, callers, or the public.

Integrations and customer content

You retain responsibility for the information, scripts, instructions, customer records, and other content you provide or connect to Novex. You grant Novex the limited permissions needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content to operate the service and the integrations you select.

Third-party products and integrations may have their own terms, availability, fees, privacy practices, and data-retention rules. Novex does not control those third-party systems, so the owner should document the supported integrations and responsibility boundaries here before launch.

Fees, changes, and termination

Pricing, renewals, taxes, payment timing, refunds, plan limits, and cancellation terms should be completed here to match the applicable checkout flow or order form. Novex may change, improve, or discontinue parts of the service, with any notice required by the final agreement.

Either party may end the relationship as allowed by the final agreement. After termination, access may stop and customer content may be deleted according to the retention commitments in the final privacy and service terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Novex is an operational tool, not a replacement for professional judgment, emergency services, legal advice, medical advice, or a business’s own review and compliance processes. Automated systems can be unavailable, incomplete, or mistaken. The owner and legal counsel should replace this summary with the final warranties, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnities, and insurance language that apply to the service.

Governing law and contact

The final terms should identify the governing law, venue, dispute process, notice requirements, and any required consumer or regional provisions. Until finalized, questions about this draft can be sent to contact@getnovex.com.
